Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse's supervision. The role includes medication administration delegated by licensed staff, vital signs collection, and supporting dining and daily activities.

Position requires a CMA/TMA training where applicable and the ability to travel to multiple locations within a 75-mile radius of the permanent address.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Requirement to complete yearly competency testing and maintain CE credits as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated within scope of practice and state regulations.
• Assist with daily living activities and support wellness and recreational programs as needed.
