Job summary

Southeast General Construction is seeking a traveling construction superintendent with extensive experience in high-end financial retail projects. You will oversee on-site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and quality while meeting schedule and budget goals.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, leadership, and scheduling skills, plus proficiency with Procore/PlanGrid and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel throughout the state and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial construction experience focused on financial retail projects.
• Ability to read construction documents/blueprints.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction operations and manage trades.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work to meet budget and schedule.
• Produce daily and weekly progress reports with photos.
• Schedule subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Maintain site safety and quality control.
• Close-out projects including inspections and commissioning.
