Job summary

Southeast General Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Florida to lead on-site operations for high-end retail bank projects.

You will manage planning, coordination, and execution to meet budget and schedule, while supervising trades and ensuring safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial construction, reads blueprints, and demonstrates strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial construction experience focused on high-end retail projects
• Read construction documents (blueprints)
• Able to work nights and weekends
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and pass background check
• Knowledge of site safety and quality control

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership of construction operations
• Produce daily and weekly job reports with photos
• Schedule subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Lead subcontract meetings to discuss progress and safety
• Manage project safety and quality control plans
• Oversee close-out activities including inspections and commissioning
