General Contractor is seeking a traveling construction superintendent with experience in retail bank construction and refurbishing. This role requires at least 4+ years of commercial construction experience focusing on financial retail projects, excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The superintendent will lead on‑site construction operations, manage construction trades, and maintain daily reports, planning, coordination, and execution of work to achieve high‑quality, safe, on‑budget, and on‑schedule projects. Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project) is mandatory; Procore and Plan Grid are a plus. Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
This position will support projects throughout the state.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years commercial construction experience with a focus on high‑end retail projects, especially financial banking centers.
- Ability to read construction documents (blueprints).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Capability to create, maintain, and manage complex schedules and critical paths.
- Excellent communication skills; experience interacting with internal and external contacts, including design consultants, sub‑contractors, equipment vendors, regulatory officials, and agencies.
- Self‑starter and planner able to multi‑task and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to supervise and lead a construction team to successful completion.

- Schedule subcontractors and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Produce daily and weekly job reports with photos.
- Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss job progress and safety.
- Responsible for overall safety on the job site and quality control plan.
- Manage project close‑out, including required inspections, commissioning, and completion of the punch list.
Compensation
Salary Compensation: start at 80+ based on experience.
