Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking a Traveling Backhoe Operator- Utility Construction to safely operate heavy equipment for fiber, copper, and power cable installations. Field experience around utilities in rural and urban areas is required.

You will train teammates and assist with basic labor while maintaining equipment and following safety procedures. The role involves working outdoors in all weather, traveling away from home for extended periods, and performing related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe).

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Dig around utilities and install/build around existing infrastructure.
• Provide training and assistance to fellow operators.
• Assist with basic labor tasks and equipment setup.
• Drive tow vehicle with equipment to site.
• Maintain and inspect equipment daily.
