FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - 100% TRAVEL
In this role, you’ll be the go-to Service Technician for advanced automated equipment, taking ownership of PLC programming, motion control, commissioning, and field troubleshooting for customers across the U.S. and beyond.
You won’t just swap parts – you’ll program, debug, upgrade, and optimize complex systems so production keeps moving.
If you’re a hands‑on technician with real PLC chops and mechanical aptitude who likes being in the field, we want to talk to you.
You’ll be the technical backbone for automation systems at customer sites:
You may also interface with tools like AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, CRM (HubSpot), and ERP (Epicor) when supporting projects and customers.
This is the role where your electrical automation skills directly keep your customers’ lines running.
You’ve been in the field, shoulder‑to‑shoulder with customers, making the call on how to get a complex automated line back up and running. You can move from the laptop to the panel to the mechanical side of the machine without missing a beat.
Ideally, you’ve supported OEM machinery or packaging/processing equipment, worked with PLC motion control, and you’re comfortable reading electrical drawings, tweaking code, and turning wrenches when needed.
You’ll join a collaborative, engineering‑and service‑focused environment with exposure to cutting‑edge equipment and industry‑leading automation solutions.
Up to 80% domestic travel is required (approximately 85% overnight, 15% local).
Up to 20% international travel is required (primarily Canada, with potential overseas travel).
