Job summary

CMC Partners seeks an experienced Asphalt Lay-Down Foreman to run a highway paving crew on state DOT projects across Wyoming. This traveling, year-round role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety, and coordination with plant and truck teams.

You will lead from the front, ensure quality and smoothness, and report progress to the site superintendent. The ideal candidate has highway construction experience, a stable work history, and long-term commitment to a respected owner-led contractor.

Qualifications

• Highway/road construction experience essential on DOT projects.
• Hands-on asphalt lay-down experience required.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a field crew.
• Stable, long-term career history and commitment expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the asphalt lay-down crew day to day on state DOT highway projects.
• Direct operators and laborers on paving, rolling and finishing to meet quality specs.
• Coordinate with hot plant foreman and truck boss to keep production in sync.
• Uphold safety standards and crew accountability on site.
• Report to the project superintendent on progress, quality and crew performance.
