Asphalt Lay-Down Foreman | Highway Paving (DOT) | Wyoming (Traveling)
Run the crew on some of the best-paved highways in the state.
About the Opportunity
A long-established, owner-led heavy civil contractor in Wyoming is seeking an experienced Asphalt Lay-Down Foreman to run one of its highway paving crews on state DOT projects.
Founded in the 1960s, the business has built a reputation as one of the leading paving contractors in the state, recognised by the DOT, clients and competitors for the quality of its work. The company self-performs production and lay-down on highway projects up to $30M and consistently wins state DOT asphalt quality and smoothness awards.
This is a close-knit, high-integrity organisation where leadership is accessible, people are recognised, and quality is never compromised for convenience. The company has grown revenue significantly over the past three years.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Quality-Driven Culture: Join a contractor that would rather mill out and redo work than accept a patch job, where integrity is the number one value and is put into practice.
- Career Path: There is a clear route from Foreman to Superintendent to Project Manager to Vice President. Several of the company's current leaders were promoted up from the paving crews.
- Year-Round Stability: This is a full-time, salaried, year-round position, not a seasonal job. Your salary does not drop in the off-season.
- Established Leadership: You'll report to a long-tenured, experienced superintendent within a well-run operation.
- Benefits: Health insurance is 100% company-paid for the employee and 75% for dependents, plus a 401(k).
- Relocation Assistance: Available for the right candidate. Prior Wyoming experience is not required.
