Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This field role covers hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials across various sites in the United States.

The position is travel-heavy (60-80%), requires attendance at a two-week training academy, and offers per diem and company-paid travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Asbestos abatement and/or mold remediation experience or certifications preferred.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Operate and handle light and heavy equipment and a variety of tools.
• Work in variable weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
• Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and waste handling.
