Job summary

Shaffer Distributing is seeking an Arcade Technician in Columbus, OH, to install, repair, and support arcade games across the United States. The role includes setting up kiosks, card readers, and POS systems, with travel required and all travel expenses paid.

Normal hours are Monday–Friday, 8–5, with overtime during travel periods. Candidates should be able to travel up to a week, twice per month, for installations and support nationwide. Reporting office preferred in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude is essential for install, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment circuitry and mechanical assemblies.
• Basic computer repair knowledge and networking skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair arcade equipment across the United States.
• Set up and configure payment kiosks, POS systems, and card readers.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing equipment.
• Provide post-sale support and training to customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
