Job summary

Bar Partners / Amuze is seeking a Traveling Arcade Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain arcade and amusement equipment across assigned locations. You will manage routes, collect revenue, and document service while ensuring machines stay reliable and clean.

You will troubleshoot, install, and perform preventive maintenance, with opportunities for technical growth in a dynamic entertainment environment. Regular travel and evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving ability and interest in learning how arcade equipment operates.
• Ability to learn and safely apply repair methods, tool-use practices, service instructions, safety procedures, and work standards.
• Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, documentation, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably complete an assigned route.
• Ability to use a smartphone/tablet/computer for work orders, photos, service documentation, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the route and complete the assigned arcade sweep and service schedule.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; test games and devices for proper operation; perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or install equipment as directed; diagnose issues with guidance as needed.
• Respond to service needs promptly and escalate complex issues with accurate diagnostics.
• Control cash and records; collect revenues, reconcile meters, and follow custody procedures.
• Document work orders, service notes, and communication with location partners.
