Job summary

Westport Properties, Inc. is seeking a dependable Roving Apartment Maintenance Technician to travel between properties, performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, painting, and appliance repairs.

You’ll prep units for new residents and maintain existing ones, with occasional on-call duties and logs to support operations. Ideal candidates have strong general maintenance skills, a valid driver’s license, and are willing to obtain EPA/HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• General maintenance skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA certification preferred or willing to obtain (exam fee reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Travel to different properties to handle maintenance and repairs.
• Tackle jobs like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, landscaping, and more.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
• Help prep units for new residents and handle regular upkeep for existing ones.
• Stay on-call occasionally (about one week every 8 weeks).
• Keep maintenance logs and support snow removal during winter months.
