Job summary

UCLA Health’s Ambulatory Float Team seeks a Team Assistant to support patients across 25+ specialties, from primary care to surgery, delivering an exceptional patient experience within UCLA Health's ambulatory network.

You will travel to UCLA Health community clinics throughout Southern California, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and assist with registration through discharge while coordinating with multiple clinic teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be highly flexible and able to travel to multiple UCLA Health sites within the ambulatory network.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate appointments with staff from many clinical services.
• Efficiently facilitate appointment processes, including transportation arrangements and physician scheduling.
• Demonstrate clear knowledge of responsibilities; proficient with required software and tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.
• Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Support patient flow from registration through discharge.
• Collaborate with clinic teams to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service.
• Provide coverage across multiple practices based on staffing needs.
• Travel to UCLA Health community clinics as required.
