Job summary

UVA Community Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support the Medical Group in Gainesville and Warrenton locations. The role requires a nursing program completion and Virginia RN licensure, with BLS certification, and the ability to travel between sites.

You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care and support clinic operations. This position emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to policies, and leadership in clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. 3 years of related experience preferred.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: AHA Healthcare BLS required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Universal Precautions protocol.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients in accordance with UVA Health policies.
• Serve as a clinical resource; lead and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Assist clinic leaders and providers with day-to-day operations and supplies.
