UVA Health is seeking skilled nursing staff for ambulatory care in Virginia. The role focuses on direct patient care, education, and care plan reinforcement under physician or licensed designee supervision. Positions support all ages with goal of efficient, safe clinic flow and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include intake, documentation in the EMR, medication administration, and cross-training for multiple clinic roles. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
• Graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse Program.
• Licensed to practice as an LPN in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Room patient and complete intake and data collection per protocols.
• Gathers preliminary intake to include patient history and inputs into medical record system prior to visit for physician review.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of medical supplies and/or vaccines for the practice.
• Medications administration: Oral, IM injections, intradermal and SQ injections, vaccinations.
• Perform venipuncture and ambulatory procedures within scope of practice.
• Document and charge capture for service rendered in Medical Record.
