Job summary

The University of Virginia Health System is recruiting a part-time Registered Nurse to support UVA Community Health’s Endoscopy Suites across Gainesville and Warrenton. The RN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure adherence to ASPIRE values and clinical standards.

Requirements include a nursing program completion, Virginia RN license, BLS, and 1 year of nursing experience (3 years preferred). Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
• RN licensure in Virginia prior to onboarding.
• AHA Healthcare BLS required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Universal Precautions protocol.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.
• Assist Clinic leaders and medical providers with patient care needs and daily operations.
• May order or assist with ordering of clinical supplies and maintain inventories and logs/documentation.
