Job summary

UVA Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical Services - ENDO in the Culpeper/Northern VA area. This part-time role (3 days a week, 7am-5:30pm) includes on-call responsibilities and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. ENDO experience or 2 years ICU/ED preferred.

The RN will lead the healthcare team, collaborate with physicians to assess, plan, and evaluate a personalized care plan, and deliver high-quality patient care using evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state.
• 1 year ICU/ED or ENDO experience preferred.
• CPI certification within three months of hire for Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and CSSO.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team by establishing an authentic relationship with the patient and their support system.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and ensure timely nursing interventions.
