Job summary

Fortrex, Safe Foods division, is seeking a Traveling Account Management Division Manager to lead a field-based team supporting food processing plants across a defined region. You will oversee ordering, delivery, and application of products, manage budgeted costs, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The role requires coordinating with management and plants, driving cost reductions, expanding the customer base, and guiding Account Management Area Managers to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Associate's degree or 7-10 years in sanitation/food processing industry.
• Area Manager or equivalent experience (18 months at this level preferred).
• Display strong managerial skills including decision-making and conflict resolution.
• Maintain integrity, honesty, initiative, and customer focus.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs.
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Account Management Area Managers and Account Managers to achieve goals.
• Coordinate with Safefoods, A division of Fortrex, management and customers for order flow and delivery.
• Oversee budgeted costs of chemicals, equipment, freight/fuel, and labor in territory.
• Maintain open communication with management about variances and opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Other duties as assigned.
