Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO, seeks a Radiography - X Ray Technologist for a full-time weekend night role. The position requires ARRT registration and state licensure if required, plus BLS, with a 72-hour per pay period schedule and $36.00 per hour plus travel stipend.

The technologist performs imaging procedures, reviews histories, administers contrast as needed, and maintains patient safety and education in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience required.
• Registered ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist; specialty ARRT certs as required for position.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross for professional rescuer; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates radiographic images based on physician orders and patient education.
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications and monitors patient condition.
• Responds to and reports changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implements imaging techniques to ensure image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality per established Radiology practices (AART).
