Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging under physician orders, reviewing patient history and educating patients to ensure cooperation. You will safely administer contrast media and monitor patient condition, applying best practices to achieve clear images.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, one year of experience, ARRT CT registry or registry-eligible with completion within 12 months, and state

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• One year of experience.
• Registered RT with ARRT CT registry or registry eligible with completion within 12 months.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS certification with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and initiate CT imaging based on physician orders.
• Safely administer contrast media and monitor patient condition.
• Communicate with patients to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Apply imaging techniques to yield image quality and maintain equipment function.
• Possibly perform 3-D post-processing and report results.
