Job summary

MVM, Inc. is seeking a Travel Youth Care Worker to transport unaccompanied minors and families, ensuring safety, clear communication, and compliance with procedures.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and readiness for flexible, long-duration travel across domestic routes. Responsibilities include orientation, documentation, safety checks, and one-on-one supervision, with expectations for night shifts, weekends, and possible international travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or HS diploma with relevant experience.
• Two years of experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, or related field; appropriate certifications may apply.
• Must be bilingual; English and Spanish.
• Ability to pass Government background, security checks, and DOT exam; valid driver license.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills; able to work flexible shifts and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport unaccompanied minors and families safely and humanely.
• Provide orientation to minors/families in understandable language.
• Maintain line of sight and sound supervision during transport.
• Verify documentation and complete required reports in system milestones.
• Inspections of vehicle safety and security; ensure seat belts and car seats are properly used.
• Assist with meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and hydration for minors during trips.
