Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Transporter Specialist for the La Jornada Program to coordinate transportation for unaccompanied youth and escort them between destinations. The role requires strong organization and reliable travel logistics support.

The position involves traveling up to 40–50% of the time, maintaining safety and schedules, and working with medical and field staff. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; CPR/CPI training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation for youth and escort them between sites.
• Travel out of state up to 40–50% for reunification efforts.
• Maintain schedules, safety checks, and vehicle readiness.
• Collaborate with medical and clinical staff for transport.
• Ensure documentation of appointments and incidents.
