Job summary
Healing Partners is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to plan, direct, and evaluate health care for residents and staff across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will travel locally to facilities, assess wounds, order and interpret tests, and provide prescriptions and on-site debridement as needed.
The role requires an active APRN license, a master's in nursing, and Covid vaccination. Excellent organizational skills and a patient-focused approach are essential for improving wound
Qualifications
- Registered nurse licensed in the state.
- Master’s degree of Nursing.
- APRN license active/unrestricted or obtainable before hire.
- Covid vaccination proof.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
- Travel daily to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within local area.
- Examine and treat chronic and acute wound-related illnesses and injuries.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend follow-up.
- Write prescriptions and perform bedside wound care procedures.
- Collaborate with medical director on care for residents and staff.
- Debride wounds using various methods when needed on-site.
- Manage topical wound care and related products.
