Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service in North America seeks qualified Wind Technicians to support maintenance, service, and major component exchanges. The role requires travel, hands-on diagnostics, and teamwork on challenging wind projects.

Responsibilities include LOTO, troubleshooting, generator repairs, reading blueprints, and operating power tools and diagnostic equipment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of wind technician experience and GWO certifications; driving license is required.

Qualifications

  • GWO certifications required.
  • Proficiency turbine servicing including major component exchange.
  • Strong knowledge of generator repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Skilled in using power tools for various technical tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead and coordinate team efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform LOTO, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform field service activities, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Utilize power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Conduct generator repairs and maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for technical guidance.
  • Climb ladders as needed for equipment inspection or repair.
  • Communicate with management.
