Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service in the United States is seeking qualified Wind Technicians to support maintenance, service, and major component exchanges across North America, with opportunities to travel and grow with a global wind energy leader. The role is full‑time with 12‑hour shifts, day and night coverage, and overtime.

Candidates must hold Driver's License, GWO BST, BTT, ART, at least 1 year of wind experience, and be able to read blueprints and use power tools.

Qualifications

• GWO BST, BTT, and ART certifications required.
• Experience with turbine servicing and major component exchanges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform LOTO and troubleshooting.
• Perform field service activities, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

• Conduct generator repairs and maintenance.

Duties

• Perform LOTO and troubleshooting.
• Perform field service activities, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Utilize power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct generator repairs and maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints for technical guidance.
• Climb ladders as needed for equipment inspection or repair.
• Communicate with management.

Qualifications

• GWO certifications.
• Proficiency turbine servicing, including major component exchange.
• Strong knowledge of generator repair and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Skilled in using power tools for various technical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to lead and coordinate team efforts.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Familiarity with field service operations.
• Experience with rigging for equipment installation and crane calling.

Candidates must pass routine drug screens and pre‑employment background checks and maintain a motor vehicle record with no major infractions.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
