Takkion seeks a Specialty Field Service Traveling Technician to support wind turbine field operations across North America. The role requires traveling, performing complex mechanical tasks, and adhering to all safety policies in diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in wind energy, a HS diploma or GED, and strong mechanical aptitude. Willingness to travel up to six weeks at a time and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 1–5 years of wind energy or related field experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; willingness to learn new software.
• Ability to travel up to six weeks at a time and work overnight/weekends as needed.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout North America performing field services for wind turbine equipment.
• Perform gearboxes, blade and drivetrain replacements as required; in-field machining and repairs.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures in all environments.
• Collaborate with teams to meet maintenance and service goals in remote locations.
