Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking Traveling Wind Field Service Technicians to keep wind turbines running. This role features a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule, extensive travel, and a competitive hourly rate with per diem and overtime.

You should be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and ready for long drives across North America while maintaining high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Training is available for growth within the wind energy sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience and a valid license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends, with 3 weeks on/1 week off.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on wind generators, bearings, slip rings, and towers.
• Carry out on-tower wind repairs, measurements, and machining as needed.
• Repair and test generators and related components; document work and data.
• Safely lift, move, and install heavy equipment on-site per procedures.
• Investigate issues, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate service reports and work orders for customers.
