Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking an experienced travel welder with above-ground storage tank (AST) construction experience for nationwide projects. The role requires welding across SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes and the ability to read detailed drawings.

You will operate power tools, lift equipment, and follow safety protocols while collaborating with crew members to complete tank assemblies on time and safely.

Qualificações

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and suggest improvements to our systems.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn and be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Welding ability is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performing arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, grinders and other tools.
• Weld tanks using SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc methods.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in job safety analyses.
• Collaborate with crew on tank construction projects.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
