TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Vascular Technologist for a travel assignment in Lynchburg, VA. The role involves performing vascular ultrasound exams and using Doppler technology to assess blood flow in various regions.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience, BLS certification, and ARDMS RVT/RVS or equivalent certification; state licensure may be required. The travel position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a potential stipend and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of vascular technologist experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS RVT/RVS or equivalent certification preferred.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies.
• Apply Doppler technology to assess blood flow and identify abnormalities.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams.
• Document normal and abnormal findings for physician interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team.
