Responsibilities
- Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies.
- Use Doppler technology and ultrasound equipment to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort during exams.
- Identify and document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretation.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image quality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Calibrate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
- Support a clean and organized working environment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a Vascular Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred certifications: RVT, RVS, or ARDMS National Certification.
- State licensure may be required.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to stand for extended periods, excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
