Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Vascular Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS/RVT certification with state licensure potentially required. Expect 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and travel pay details managed by TotalMed Allied.

You will perform vascular ultrasound exams, utilize Doppler to assess blood flow, and document findings. Collaboration with physicians and maintaining equipment will be essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Vascular Technologist experience.
• BLS certification required; RVT/RVS/ARDMS preferred.
• State licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound exams: carotid, arterial, venous, abdominal.
• Use Doppler and ultrasound to assess blood flow and conditions.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort.
• Document imaging findings for physician interpretation.
• Position patients and optimize image quality.
• Maintain records and calibrate ultrasound machines.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
