Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week contract in Chicago, IL. Requires 2+ years’ experience in general, OB/GYN, and vascular scanning, ARDMS, CPR/BLS, and a valid license if applicable.

Epic EMR experience is required and must be noted in your employment history. New grads are not considered; references from supervisors are preferred, with at least one travel reference encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• Must scan general, OB/GYN, and vascular cases.
• ARDMS certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required (AHA preferred, ARC accepted).
• License required if applicable.
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• 2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the last year.
• At least one travel reference preferred.

Responsibilities

• 12-week contract assignment in Chicago, IL.
• Day shift rotating schedule: Week One Mon-Fri 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, Week Two Sat-Sun 7:00 AM-11:30 PM, alternating 40/32 hours.
• No on-call or floating requirements.
• On-site interview and scanning assessment prior to placement.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated for 12 months before being considered as a traveler.
