American Traveler is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. RDMS and ARRT(S) certification are required, with 1+ year in General, OB, and Vascular sonography. Day shift, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour blocks and flexibility.

Outpatient imaging includes General, OB/GYN, and Vascular exams using Philips Epiq; EPIC is used for charting. Weekend or back-up call may be required. Local candidates within 50 miles are encouraged to apply.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular sonography for a day shift position requiring RDMS certification.

Details

• Outpatient imaging department performing General, OB/GYN, Vascular, Small Parts, and Pediatric ultrasound exams
• Average of 10 exams per 8 hour shift
• Uses Philips Epiq, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon transducer cleaning equipment
• Charts in EPIC
• Schedule includes Monday and Tuesday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Weekend shifts at discretion of unit leader
• Backup call required
• Floating at discretion of unit leader

Requirements

• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required
• BLS certification required
• RDMS certification required
• 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular sonography
• RVT and additional RDMS (AB or OB) certification preferred
• Proficiency performing abdominal, soft tissue, pelvic, testicular, renal, liver, extremity venous/arterial, carotid, infant, and OB ultrasound exams
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of exams including thyroid, parathyroid, thyroidectomy post-op scans, transvaginal pelvic with Doppler, testicular, renal, liver, upper/lower extremity venous and arterial studies, carotid duplex, infant brain/hip/spine, hemodialysis access, and OB studies (complete, limited, follow-up, BPP, umbilical Doppler)
• Must be adaptable, patient-centered, and demonstrate strong independent and critical thinking skills
• Charcoal grey scrub top and bottom with solid colored undershirt (black, white, or grey), grey scrub jacket, and non-porous shoes required
• No orientation modules required prior to first day; training completed during first week on shift
• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a reduced rate
