Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a night shift hospital role requiring 4+ years of experience and RVT certification or extensive vascular experience. The position requires general supervision by a radiologist, adherence to safety protocols, and comfort with a 4x10 night schedule.

Candidates must have RDMS/ARRT and ARDMS-RVT certifications, active Texas licensure if applicable, and the ability to work outside a 50-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience.
• RDMS/ARRT and ARDMS-RVT certifications required or extensive vascular experience.
• Active Texas license required if applicable.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Flu shot required with no exemptions.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures in ambulatory and/or hospital settings under supervision.
• Work 4x10 hour night shifts: 7:30 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Thursday.
• Communicate with patients using a1IDET framework and document results.
• Prepare patients/equipment, adhere to safety and infection-control policies.
• Maintain equipment, PACS/EMR workflows, and care for all ages.
