Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift Sonographer for an acute care hospital setting, requiring ARDMS certification and 2+ years of post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice.

Details include 36 hours per week over 3x12hr night shifts, in Bozeman, MT, with on-call potential and a 13-week contract. ARDMS advanced category or 10 years of experience is acceptable. Benefits and travel support provided.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in at least one category (OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts).
• ARDMS certification in an advanced category or 10 years of advanced practice.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice.
• Active state license (if applicable) and current BLS certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound including OB, abdomen, and small parts imaging.
• Assist physicians and medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Review previous studies to ensure timely performance and reporting.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and work primarily independently in a high-stress acute care setting.
