Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with RDMS (AB or OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS certification to cover night shift on-call and rotating duties in a busy ultrasonography department.

The role includes performing abdomen, obstetric and vascular studies, working with EMR (Meditech) and PACS (GE Centricity), and floating between General and Vascular ultrasound. A 13-week assignment and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RDMS (AB) or OB with RVT (VT) or RVS certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• License is required where applicable.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience in the specialty.
• Experience with vascular, pediatric, general ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound unit in a 196-bed hospital with 800+ staff.
• Cover night shift on-call from 11 PM to 7 AM and rotate duties.
• Perform abdomen, OB, vascular studies and biopsies as needed.
• Maintain high-level disinfection and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with EMR (Meditech) and PACS (GE Centricity).
• Float between General and Vascular ultrasound as required.
