Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an outpatient diagnostic imaging facility or hospital.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient interviews to gather medical history and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and calibrate Ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality control.
• Conduct imaging studies using various techniques and protocols.
• Analyze acquired images and identify abnormalities for assessment.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with radiologists to discuss findings for treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiac pathophysiology

Proficiency in operating sonography equipment and software
