Job summary

Unio Health Partners (UHP) is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a per diem traveling role to perform urological ultrasound exams across assignments. A minimum of two years of ultrasound experience and ARDMS AB certification are required, with a preference for urology experience.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients, and communicate diagnostic findings to the physician, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Ultrasound experience, urology experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with various ultrasound machines.
• ARDMS AB certification is Required.
• Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic sonographic information in each examination performed.
• Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the physician.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture optimal images for various urologic ultrasound exams including abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS.
• Evaluate ultrasound exam results and ensure guidelines and protocols were followed.
• Report and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings.
• Prepare patients for procedures and maintain comfort during exams.
• Communicate effectively with patients and physicians during examinations.
