Job summary

Unio Health Partners is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a traveling, per diem role in the Greater LA division. The position requires performing urological ultrasounds across multiple offices, with patient prep and comfort as part of the process.

The candidate must have at least 2 years of ultrasound experience, preferably in urology, be comfortable with different ultrasound machines, and hold ARDMS AB certification.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Ultrasound experience, urology experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with various ultrasound machines.
• ARDMS AB certification is Required.
• Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic information.
• Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to the physician.

Responsibilities

• Operation of ultrasound equipment to capture optimal images for urologic exams (abdominal, renal, pelvic, scrotal, TRUS).
• Evaluate ultrasound exam results against the procedure plan and guidelines.
• Report and summarize technical inferences and clinical findings.
• Assist patients before and during the procedure (prep, gel, positioning).
• Communicate effectively with patients and maintain comfort during examination.
