American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS certification and Epic EMR experience for a general sonography role covering OB/GYN, pediatric, vascular, and small parts studies.

Details

• Radiology/Cardiology Ultrasound Tech - General unit
• 13-week assignment
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity
• Work settings include adult, obstetrics, pediatrics, and vascular patients
• Skills include OB/GYN studies (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, fetal anatomical survey, amniotic fluid index), pediatric abdomen/pelvis, vascular Doppler and duplex studies, small parts (breast, thyroid, scrotum), and general abdominal ultrasound
• Procedures may include cyst aspiration and ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration
• Utilizes GE ultrasound equipment
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• ARDMS certification required; ARDMS AB and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required

• Must be able to competently perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

• Adheres to all applicable regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Accepts local candidates at the local rate
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidate consideration
• Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Only 1 holiday RTO request approved per contract
• Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
