Job summary

Talent4Health is seeking an Ultrasound Sono Tech for a travel assignment in the US, performing obstetric and abdominal ultrasound across multiple SMH campuses. The position features 12-hour night shifts, a 7 on / 7 off rotation, and 36–48 hour weekly variability with no on‑call requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers, software and radiology systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication throughout patient care.
• Knowledge of abdominal anatomy and related ultrasound pathology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operate imaging equipment and assist radiologists as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Support department operations, including inventory and scheduling.
• Adapt interactions to diverse patient populations and privacy needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
