Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, VA. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, BLS and ARDMS certifications, and state licensing as needed. Schedule features 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Immediate travel opening with a tax-free stipend to be determined. As a US Tech, you will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure accurate images, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to interpret results.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel ultrasound experience is preferred.
• BLS, ARDMS certifications and state licensing may be required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and move between exam rooms.
• Familiarity with PACS systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures performed.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to image areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists during procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities promptly to medical staff.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions.
• Conduct scans and write reports; maintain patient records.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
