Shift is 12-hour nights, 36 hours weekly, with potential cross-campus float as needed. Education must include a CAHEA-approved diagnostic medical sonography program; BLS and RVT certification

Formación

• Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography.
• 2 years of sonographer experience; Maternal Fetal Medicine experience preferred.
• ARDMS certification in Abdominal and OB-Gyn or Cardiac Sonography; BLS; RVT within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to complete imaging per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
