Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. The role requires ARDMS and BLS certification and at least two years of ultrasound experience in an acute care setting.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week (3x12 hour nights) in a Level I trauma center. On-site work includes responsibilities across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and thoracic studies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience in acute care.
• ARDMS and BLS certification required; licenses active at time of application.
• ARDMS AB/OB-GYN and RDCS-RVT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ultrasound studies in Radiology/Cardiology.
• Evaluate adult and emergency department patients.
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts; 36 hours per week; on-call as needed.
