Job summary

Penmarc Inspired Spaces, LLC is seeking a Travel Trim Carpenter to install millwork, cabinets, and closet organizers for residential and commercial clients. You will lead field service installations, ensure client satisfaction, and coordinate with scheduling to resolve field issues.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of construction experience, plan to obtain RRP Lead Renovator within a month, and are proficient with hand tools and power tools. Travel to nearby cities is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain the RRP Lead Renovator Certification within one month of hire.
• Knowledge of General Safety Practices or OSHA training preferred.
• Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, interior trim, remodels, renovations, shelving or closet organizers is required.
• Ability to use hand tools, reciprocating and miter saws, and power tools correctly and safely.
• Ability to read layouts from blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Install closets, cabinetry, millwork and occasionally paint or sheetrock repairs; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Renovate or repair as needed across projects.
• Maintain professional appearance and excellent client service through completion.
• Monitor progress to optimize day and installation efficiency.
• Communicate with scheduling to address field issues and prevent recurrence.
• Keep tools and work areas safe and clean.
• Travel to nearby cities to start new projects.
