Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry - TELE RN travel nurse for a 26-week assignment in West Des Moines, Iowa. The role focuses on Med Surg and Telemetry, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Immediate needs require 1 year of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and ECG data, interpret readings, and communicate findings to the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license and active ACLS/BLS certifications.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Travel nursing assignment requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
