Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry - TELE RN travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, IA. The role is Med Surg / Telemetry, 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Requirements include 1–2 years of recent acute care, BLS, ACLS, and NIH (NIHSS). You will monitor telemetry data, provide bedside care, and respond to cardiac events.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Experience in telemetry or Med Surg/Telemetry preferred.
• Travel RN assignments require flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and electronic displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse symptoms.
