TotalMed RN in Des Moines, IA is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry. This Telemetry RN travel role runs 13 weeks with 36 hours weekly, 12-hour day shifts. Immediate opening for RNs with 1–2 years of acute care experience and telemetry proficiency.

Certifications include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH, with additional certifications potentially required. As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, you will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory status, oxygenation, and ECG data, ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Active RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and associated equipment.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
