Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a Telemetry unit assignment in West Virginia. The role requires 2 years of Telemetry experience and 12 months in last 36 months, with Epic preferred, and will involve floating to other units as needed.

Candidates must have WV license or compact license, be willing to travel only (local not allowed, living >50 miles from facility), be up to date with COVID and flu vaccines, and meet additional program rules.

Qualifications

• WV license or compact license required
• Travel only; local not allowed; live >50 miles from facility
• COVID vaccination required; flu vaccination required
• No recent employment as staff/traveler in this program within 24 months
• Driver’s license required for submission
• May float to additional units/locations
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Read strips and manage patients on telemetry units
• Titrate heparin and administer Lasix/Bumex only as prescribed
• Perform EKGs when PCTs are unavailable
• Admit and discharge patients; participate in unit float rotation as needed
