American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an RN for a PCU/Telemetry position in West Virginia. Night shift runs 19:00–07:30 with a rotating schedule (3x12 hours one week, 4x12 hours the next), floating within scope, and every other weekend.

Assignment is 13 weeks with an Oct 13, 2026 start and 3 openings. Requirements include WV or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, 2+ years Telemetry/PCU/Stepdown experience, 3–6 months Level IV trauma, and chest tubes/BiPAP/CPAP experience.

Qualifications

• Active WV or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/PCU/Stepdown experience required.
• 3–6 months of Level IV Trauma or above experience required.
• Skills include IV therapy, phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and cardiac drip management.
• Experience with chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula required.
• Experience with CVA, post-TPA care, and pre/post neurosurgery patients required.
• Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias required.
• Two professional references within the last year.
• Valid driver's license with address matching permanent address.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cardiac, neurological, renal, and post-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Manage patients with substance withdrawal, seizure disorders, and renal failure requiring continuous bladder irrigation.
• Administer medications including heparin protocols, PCA, and epidural analgesia.
• Perform wound care and manage isolation precautions/PPE.
• Monitor chemotherapy administration for oncology patients.
